Metaconnections partners Metaconnections works with other practitioners in the identity management field to ensure that customers have access to an appropriately comprehensive service. Microsoft In 1998, based upon technology from Zoomit VIA, Metaconnections staff were responsible for one of the first metadirectory implementations in Europe. Since 1999, following Microsoft’s acquisition of the Zoomit Corporation, Metaconnections has worked closely with Microsoft in the evolution of both MMS and, later, MIIS 2003. Metaconnections played an active role in the MIIS 2003 joint development programme and provided input to MMS/MIIS migration best-practice. Metaconnections’ deployment of MIIS 2003 for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea was the first in the UK and forms a current case study on the Microsoft website. Metaconnections has been a Microsoft MIIS Partner since March 2003 and an MMS Partner since April 2002. |
